Job Description
As the Engineering Purchasing Manager at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the procurement process for engineering and maintenance operations through effective utilization of procurement systems and protocols.

What You Will Be Doing
Reporting to the Director, Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Prepare and send Dayforce reports to Payroll bi-weekly.Generate purchase orders (POs) using Birchstreet.Follow policies, procedures and service standards.Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel vehicles.- Relevant experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Possession of a valid Alberta Driver's License.
- Familiarity with POMEC GL codes for accurate coding.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications required (Word, Excel & Power Point).
- Ability to work a variety of shifts.
- Close proximity to Marmot Basin Ski Resort in winter and world-renowned hiking trails in summer.
- Hospitality employees worldwide making this a great place to develop lifelong connections.
- Physical Effort: must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, must be able to work from ladders, lifts and scaffolding.
- Environmental Stress: busy atmosphere, working inside, outside and mechanical service areas.
