Trade and Distribution Manager

As the Manager of Trade and Distribution (T&D,) you will report to the Head of Business Unit, CSL Vifor Canada
You will build and lead the T&D channel strategy for Vifor products for trade customers during prep-for-launch, launch, and post-launch phases in Canada. Lead and manage inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation via a 3PL to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products (supply chain.) This position involves you working closely with other members of the commercial team, including marketing, and business analytics, as well as other cross-functional partners including manufacturing/supply chain, finance, QA, and legal.
Responsibilities:
Lead wholesaler channel strategy and build relationships with key customers.
Lead wholesaler Customer Relations by responding to customer enquiries, sending communications, and managing issues as they arise. Liaise with Wholesalers and GPOs (group purchasing organizations) regarding orders, shipments, returns and address ad hoc issues. Attend Trade Conferences.
Work with the cross-functional team, develop contracting strategies & agreements. Provide agreement oversight with third party distributors and ensure that all terms and conditions are met and respected throughout the duration of the agreement.
Manage all logistics matters with Third Party Logistics (3PL) for Vifor products specifically (set-up, implementation, and day-to-day management of all direct purchase customers with monitoring of shipments and inventory). Coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving inventory to control the flow of goods. Ensure that a high service level is provided by the 3PL.
Analyze and provide a monthly sales recap that identifies trends, confirms pricing, and recaps return costs and trends.
Manage comprehensive internal import controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
Responsible for order entry, billing, chargebacks, and shipments. Liaise with internal Order to Cash Team to ensure seamless process and clear communication.
Supported by the Business Technology team, ensure proper EDI set-up and functioning with all wholesalers.
Periodic review of return data from wholesalers and verify that returns meet the returned goods policy and at the correct acquisition WAC (wholesale acquisition) price.
Compile channel fee data and monthly market share per NDC to create the channel fee report for finance so that we can complete the monthly government pricing report.
Communicate to internal and external customers concerning product availability & delivery dates.
In collaboration with Data Analytics Manager, lead the demand/supply planning for Vifor products.
Act as a backup for the CSL Behring Canada Operations Team
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required.
- 5+ years of working in the pharma/biotech space, with experience including:
- Canadian Trade/channel strategy experience – specifically setting channel strategy and pulling through contracts.
- 3+ years’ experience with Contract Development and Negotiation
- Managing vendors – independent consultants
- Able to travel 10-20%

Responsabilités :
Diriger la stratégie du canal des grossistes et établir des relations avec les clients clés.
Diriger les relations avec les clients des grossistes en répondant aux demandes des clients, en envoyant des communications et en gérant les problèmes au fur et à mesure qu'ils surviennent. Assurer la liaison avec les grossistes et les GPO (groupements d'achat) en ce qui concerne les commandes, les expéditions, les retours et traiter les questions ad hoc. Participer à des conférences commerciales.
En collaboration avec l'équipe interfonctionnelle, élaborer des stratégies et des accords contractuels. Superviser les accords avec les distributeurs tiers et veiller à ce que toutes les conditions soient respectées pendant toute la durée de l'accord.
Gérer toutes les questions logistiques avec la logistique de tiers (3PL) pour les produits Vifor en particulier (mise en place, mise en œuvre et gestion quotidienne de tous les clients en achat direct avec suivi des expéditions et de l'inventaire). Coordonner les calendriers d'expédition et de réception des stocks afin de contrôler le flux de marchandises. S'assurer qu'un niveau de service élevé est fourni par le 3PL.
Analyser et fournir un récapitulatif mensuel des ventes qui identifie les tendances, confirme les prix et récapitule les coûts de retour et les tendances.
Gérer des contrôles internes complets des importations afin de garantir la conformité avec les organismes de réglementation.
Responsable de la saisie des commandes, de la facturation, des rétrocessions et des expéditions. Assurer la liaison avec l'équipe interne « Order to Cash » pour garantir un processus transparent et une communication claire.
Avec le soutien de l'équipe de technologie commerciale, veiller à la mise en place et au bon fonctionnement de l'EDI avec tous les grossistes.
Examiner périodiquement les données de retour des grossistes et vérifier que les retours sont conformes à la politique de retour des marchandises et au prix d'acquisition WAC (wholesale acquisition) correct.
Compiler les données relatives aux frais de distribution et à la part de marché mensuelle par NDC afin de créer le rapport sur les frais de distribution pour les finances, de manière à ce que nous puissions compléter le rapport mensuel sur les prix pratiqués par le gouvernement.
Communiquer avec les clients internes et externes sur la disponibilité des produits et les dates de livraison.
En collaboration avec le responsable de l'analyse des données, diriger la planification de la demande et de l'approvisionnement pour les produits Vifor.
Servir de soutien à l'équipe des opérations de CSL Behring Canada.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS requis
- Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans le domaine de la pharmacie/biotechnologie, y compris une expérience dans les domaines suivants
- Expérience en stratégie de commerce/canal canadien - plus particulièrement dans l'établissement d'une stratégie de canal et dans l'obtention de contrats.
