Medical Lab Technologists provide accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. Through accuracy, quality, efficiency and expediting test results, you will contribute to patient well-being and the achievement of better health outcomes. LifeLabs facilities are also known as teaching laboratories and offer opportunities to share knowledge in a collaborative environment. You will have 24-hour medical support through our Medical Science team and Medical Library, and the ability to teach our college and university student placements.

Status: Part-Time (0-20 hours weekly; no guaranteed hours)

Shift: Overnight, 11pm-7am

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
  • Assisting with the evaluation and implementation of new technology.
  • Adhering to laboratory safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.

What you will bring to the role:

  • College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office products, as well as laboratory analyzers./>
