Job Description Midland Transport is currently seeking an Owner Operator Driver based in St. John’s, NL Terminal. The selected candidate will be reliable, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and exceptional customer service skills. Main Role: Manage time, pick up and receive courier/packages, and ensure accurate and timely delivery to our clients’ customers. Enthusiastic, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills are essential. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1700 What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of $46.24 Excess KM Supplement of $0.408/km over 105 total kms/day on normal delivery routes Fuel purchased at authorized company fuel stops will be charged at $0.408 per liter for gasoline or diesel Uniform Allowance of $367.50 per unit annually $200 safety bonus per quarter if qualified Ongoing training and advancement opportunities Responsibilities: Follow pickup and delivery procedures Load and unload the Straight Truck safely to prevent damage Accurately process daily pickup and delivery records, ensuring timely deliveries Maintain company equipment standards Communicate effectively with customers Drive and operate equipment (Hand Cart) following safety procedures and traffic laws Adhere to safety regulations, company rules, and procedures Report incidents, accidents, injuries, or damages Support Transport operations as needed Work schedule may vary based on business needs Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Class 5 driver’s license with at least 2 years of safe commercial driving experience Clean driver’s abstract and criminal record Reliable Straight Truck no older than eight years, in good condition Good communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with proper equipment Strong work ethic and reliability Safety-consciousness Must brand the vehicle with Midland logos in green About Us: Founded in 1882, J.D.
