Job Brief:

The Quality Manager is responsible for supervision, implementation and monitoring of Control Tech’s quality control and assurance programs and activities covering all aspects of the Quality Manual.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understanding customers needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with all customer requirements and legislation.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans for instrumentation and electrical construction projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications, codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections, non-conformities and corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports and communicate findings to project stakeholders and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety and quality guidelines.
  • Evaluate the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Collaborate with procurement and project management to address quality related issues with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the quality awareness and skills of construction teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and best practices within Control Tech.
  • Investigate and analyze the root cause of quality issues and recommend corrective action to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with clients, addressing any quality concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven experience as a quality manager.
  • A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of installation and commissioning procedures.
  • Knowledge of equipment used to perform these activities.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards

Education:

  • BSc/Ba in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in instrumentation and electrical construction and maintenance.
