Job Summary:
Manage the people, activities and performance of the Quality team, whose mission is to ensure that the products and services delivered by SKF MSU Calgary comply with customer and SKF quality expectations, by establishing and maintaining a Quality Management System compliant with ISO 9001 standard and SKF Quality policy.

SKF Magnetic Mechatronics is the world leader in the design and production of active magnetic bearings. Our high-tech solutions are used for semiconductor manufacturing and in energy extraction, transport, and storage processes (natural gas, hydrogen, etc.). SKF Magnetic Mechatronics run 3 production facilities in Vernon (France), Calgary (Alberta) and Tanger (Morocco).

Job Duties and Responsibilities are (including but not limited to):

  • Management of the Quality team.
  • Ensure the product compliance, through incoming inspection and analysis of non-conforming parts.
  • Supplier Quality Assurance.
  • Represent Quality in the development projects.
  • Manage Customer Quality (customer complaints, corrective and preventive actions).
  • Establish and maintain the QMS of the organization, including KPIs, audits and annual management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing Engineer.
  • 3-5 years if experience in Quality roles.
  • Certified Six Sigma green/black belt.
  • Certified ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor.
  • Strong knowledge in Lean manufacturing.
  • Knowledge in Metrology and equipment calibration.
  • Strong numerical analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams for quality improvements and problem-solving.
