Senior Manager of Quality Control Opportunity at Exchanger Industries Limited

Exchanger Industries Limited (EIL) is a renowned designer and manufacturer of custom heat transfer equipment, serving global markets in the oil, natural gas, and petrochemical industries.

Established in 1961, we've evolved into a leading authority in thermal heat transfer technology and one of Canada's foremost heat exchanger manufacturers.

We're currently seeking a seasoned professional to join us in the role of Senior Manager of Quality Control.

As we continue to expand our operations and uphold our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our clients worldwide, there is an increasing need for a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee our Quality Control department.

The Senior Manager of Quality Control will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, driving continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of our quality management processes.

Quality Assurance (QA) Oversight

  • Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversee internal and external quality audits, fostering continuous improvement across all quality processes.
~ Quality Control (QC) Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing leadership to enhance product quality while optimizing production schedules and budgets.
  • Provide strategic direction to the Quality Team, overseeing all qualityrelated activities and initiatives.
~ Supplier Quality Management

  • Drive the development and implementation of supplier quality programs, aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain offshore inspection processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
~ Customer Relationship Management

  • Champion strong customer support and communication throughout all quality functions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage nonconformance reporting and resolution processes in collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
~ Establish and monitor Quality department budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Provide input to Estimating on qualityrelated costs and requirements for accurate project planning.
~ Build and nurture a high-performing Quality team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in Quality Control within heavy industrial manufacturing, with a focus on pressure welding.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications and training in ASME BPV Code, Quality Assurance, welding, and NDT are highly desirable.
  • Experience in international supplier management, particularly in regions such as China, Korea, or India.
  • Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment, involving standing, walking, climbing, and bending.
Regular local and occasional international travel may be required for job site visits or supplier inspections.
