Honeywell Building Automation is a leader in building automation, fire, security, energy management, and software. Our vast base of service customers expects us to provide lifecycle upgrades and other solutions that improve the performance of their facilities. Our approach begins by working with the end customer to identify and prioritize their desired outcomes. We help them select and define use cases that will achieve those outcomes.

As a Sr Application/System Sales Engineer (Building Automation & HVAC technologies), you will work with existing service customers, together with our internal teams, including spot, service operations and sales in the ideation of improvements, and then drive to scope, estimate, propose and close modernization and renewal works within our account base.

You will have expert level knowledge of HVAC and Building Automation systems, strong business acumen and great interpersonal skills to help our existing and new customers to upgrade the quality of their buildings / facilities management.

This role will report to the Honeywell BA office in Markham, ON.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Recommend and implement improvements within our Service base to achieve sales goals.
  2. Provide value to our Service customers by engaging in technical discussion leading to plant improvements.
  3. Provide load sizing, equipment selection, and configurations to optimize energy performance.
  4. Directly drive orders growth by idealizing, scoping, estimating, proposing and closing orders.
  5. Indirectly drive order growth by working with our Spot and AM teams to support their sales pursuits.
  6. Support assigned Profit Centers to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) SSJ and RQ orders and revenue.
  7. Provide an accurate weekly forecast for orders within Salesforce.Com platform.
  8. Create and maintain a robust pipeline of pursuits.


YOU MUST HAVE
  1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and P. Eng license.
  2. Minimum 10 years of technical experience in HVAC and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  3. 10 years of proven sales performance and ability to establish sales estimates.
  4. 10 years of experience with HVAC engineering design.
  5. Valid Driver's License.
