Job Responsibilities Develops, implements and administers cost‑effective benefits programs such as pension plans and life, health, and disability insurance. May also administer the organization’s Employee Assistance Program. May also be required to be a subject matter expertise in the area of Disability Management and Attendance Support to ensure timely and effective case management. Assist our Plan Members with day‑to‑day medical and dental claims and health benefit‑related questions. Audit retirement plan eligibility and participant data such as employee and employer contributions; resolve discrepancies within system and with record‑keeper. Benefit plan administration. Special projects as needed such as file feed enhancements, managing/auditing data, testing. Performs other duties as they might be assigned. Work with broader HR team, auditors, finance team, legal, and actuaries on various retirement items. Process life insurance claims. Job Requirements Post secondary in Business, Human Resources or related field. A minimum of 3‑5 years of experience working with employee benefits. Advanced MS Office skills (e.g., proficiency in Excel to include using pivot tables, v‑look ups and the mail merge feature in Word). Strong written and verbal communication skills.
