JOB STATEMENT:

IDC WIN has an immediate need for a New Business Administrator to join their team in the Prairie region to perform diverse administrative duties that will combine life and living benefit insurance knowledge and case coordination. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of insurance products and have the ability to complete detailed reporting, while multi-tasking and prioritizing competing responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Processing and managing applications submitted, reviewing information for accuracy; Managing electronic application submissions and following-up on all pending cases until completion; Providing updates and reports to producers on pre-issue and post-issue requirements; Building strong relationships with advisors, carrier home office underwriting teams, and other third-party administrators in order to handle processing and service issues; Providing assistance to insurance advisors regarding both new and existing policy information as needed; and Performing other administrative duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Post-secondary education Extensive life and living benefit insurance knowledge Exceptional customer service skills to support both internal and external parties Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize responsibilities Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong professional relationships with producers, peers, and management The ability and desire to adapt to changes in circumstances Knowledge of Lifeguide, Insurance Carrier Software, and WealthServ is an asset
