If yes, we’d love to hear from you Axis’ Business Development, Solutions & Services team is seeking a Business Development Manager, Body Worn Solutions to join our growing team in the Americas.What you’ll do here as Business Development Manager, Body Worn Solutions?ResponsibilitiesCultivate and sustain growth through identifying new opportunities and prospecting, to drive salesMaintain key relationships while developing and executing regional sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targetsPromote and educate integrators, distributors, consultants and end users on the benefits of the Axis body worn solutionOwn localized strategic plans; serve as the internal resource and subject matter expert on the Axis body worn solution for the business areaExecute plans in accordance with team strategic objectives, demand generation, KPIs and program goals and report monthly on progressDemonstrate a consultative mindset, with a value-based sales approach by asking insightful questions to drive growth, rather than simply recommending productsConduct product demonstrations and presentationsForecasting, including opportunity and pipeline managementMaintain knowledge of body worn solutions and industry trendsCollaborate with Solutions Engineers to solicit, compile and prioritize market feedbackQualificationsProven ability to build trusted relationships and meet or exceed revenue targetsStrong negotiation skills and a particular focus on attention to detailExcellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skillsResiliency, self-motivated, flexible and adaptableAn ideal mix of business & technical acumenConsistent in follow-up and executionWhat we’re looking forBachelors’ Degree or equivalent experience5+ years in either sales or business development, ideally in the physical security market (preferably with experience in body worn solutions)Experience with Salesforce & Microsoft 365 suiteExperience in account management and generating new businessValued but not required skills or experienceKnowledge of market segments that include; public safety, healthcare, education & retailKnowledge of the RFP process & state contractsPhysical demandsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Required to lift 20-40 lbs.Regional, 70% maximum required & car allowance providedCompensationTarget Salary: The approximate pay range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 CAD OTE on a 70/30 split.
