We’re 100 years young and we need you Job summary The Building Maintenance Worker is responsible for the maintenance and repairs related to buildings, grounds and equipment. This role includes basic manual repairs and upkeep for various areas of the property. Benefits: • An amazingly friendly team • Continued career opportunities • Profit-sharing (conditions apply) • Employee discount • Diverse, inclusive and safe working environment • Work-life balance • Flexible work hours • Ongoing training and learning • Scholarship opportunities • Reward and recognition program • Group benefit plan (conditions apply) • On-site parking • Public transportation nearby • Free coffee • Working for an employer that”s involved in the community • Working for a locally owned business • And much more Responsibilities: • Perform preventative maintenance and basic manual repairs related to buildings, equipment, and/or grounds. • Perform general upkeep which can include painting, basic carpentry, and/or groundskeeping. • Clean external areas (e.g., parking lots, sidewalks, entranceways, exits). • Perform lawn maintenance and ground care tasks. • Complete and maintain related records such as maintenance logs. • Communicate repair needs to management. • Ensure all maintenance tools and cleaning equipment are maintained regularly. • Report any observed or potential hazards immediately. • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements / Skills • Experience in a maintenance role • Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching • Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays) •

Basic carpentery, electrical, and plumbing skills • Painting interior and exterior • Floor tile installation and repair • Forklift and Scissor lift experience •

Snow removal using truck and or tractor or heavy equipment • F
