Field Representative – Certifications Department Position posted 2 days ago – Be among the first 25 applicants. Location Open to different locations across Canada. Description Field Evaluations for Electrical products. Field Representative role in the Certifications Department at Test Certification Inc., a Canadian-based Testing, Certification, and Inspection Body with head office in Delta, BC and additional locations in Richmond, BC, Toronto, ON and Las Vegas, NV. Qualifications Attention to details Exceptional communication and writing skills Excellent organizational skills Punctual and reliable Good and valid driving record Practical Knowledge (minimum 1 year in a working environment): Electrical – Practical knowledge of electrical/electronics, calibration of equipment, minimum 4 years. Gas – Practical knowledge of gas appliances and accessories, calibration of equipment, minimum 2 years. Oil Burning – Practical knowledge of oil-burning equipment and accessories, calibration of equipment, minimum 2 years. Plumbing – Practical knowledge of plumbing installations, minimum 1 year. Energy conservation & Solar panels – Combined knowledge of electrical and plumbing installations, minimum 1 year. Hazloc-Ex – Equipment for Explosive atmospheres. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in technical/electrical field of study. Duties & Responsibilities Perform inspections according to checklists and Quality Management System. Observe all safety measures and client safety instructions. Handle and maintain equipment and tools assigned by Certification Manager. Evaluate results and report outcomes of factory inspections to the Certification Manager. Prepare factory inspection reports. Follow up on nonconformances and corrective actions. Report deviations or nonconformances to the Certification Manager. Follow up on client corrective actions as instructed. Interact with clients; report concerns, comments, and feedback to the Certification Manager. Working Conditions Work hours: 9 am to 5 pm. Travel required – local and/or international. A valid driving license is required. Compensation Salary range: $50,000 – $60,000 per year.
