VP Engineering/Process Development Responsibilities

  • Develop unique chemical engineering processes proven at the lab level and through partnerships.
  • Manage input preparation, product, and side streams
  • Integrate processes into plant design.
  • Oversee the design and construction of installations.
  • Scale processes from lab to commercial size, ensuring all technical and operational aspects are addressed.
  • Create experimental plans to achieve significant testing and operational goals.
  • Contribute to the executive teams growth strategies. />
The successful candidate will have:

  • Registered Chemical Engineer status.
  • Proven experience in process engineering with a strong ability to develop and scale processes, particularly from lab to commercial scale.
  • Proficiency in both theoretical and practical chemistry, with a solid understanding of their applications in new process development.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Strong team management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and assertively when necessary.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and apply chemical principles innovatively.
