OverviewJoin to apply for the Account Executive - Geospatial role at Hexagon Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial.Location: Calgary, Alberta, CanadaResponsibilities and qualifications describe the role and requirements below.ResponsibilitiesPipeline generation: Proactively generate new opportunities in new and existing accounts through networking, targeted outreach, and attending industry events.Solution alignment: Understand clients\' current state, expected outcomes, and requirements. Collaborate with clients to align our solutions with their needs and articulate the value of our products.Sales process: Create territory plans, account and opportunity strategies, and manage these through a structured sales process to ensuring timely closure of deals and client satisfaction. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.Relationship building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, customers and key stakeholders.Continuous learning: Stay up to date on industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape to provide informed recommendations to clients.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to define and execute account and opportunity strategies to close deals.Education / QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in geography, geomatics, earth sciences, business or related field5+ years enterprise sales experience selling to Defence industry and federal governmentDemonstrated skills in territory management, account management, prospecting, presentations, opportunity strategy creation, negotiation, and closingDomain knowledge of Canada’s defence and federal industry preferredUnderstanding of geospatial technologies and how they relate to national defenceExperience managing the sales lifecycleEnglish, with fluency in French a plusTravel up to 50% requiredSkills & AttributesSelf-motivated: Driven to achieve and exceed resultsIntelligence: Quickly understand and articulate complex conceptsCuriosity: Keen interest in understanding clients’ needs, challenges, and industry dynamicsProblem-solving: Ability to find creative solutions to address clients\' needs and challengesCoachability: Openness to feedback and a willingness to continuously improveAbout HexagonHexagon is a global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies.
