Reporting to the Branch Manager, the primary role of the Project Coordinator is to manage the execution of all aspects of assigned projects. This includes bidding projects, being the main point of contact for the customer, coordinating all site activities and tracking financial performance.

Key Responsibilities: Act as a first point of contact on all assigned projects Estimate project costs for tender purposes Assist with project planning and scheduling under the guidance of the manager Develop and execute work plans aimed at keeping projects on schedule and on budget Manage suppliers, issue PO’s, co-ordinate all site activities Ensure on-site operations are conducted in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, within permit conditions, and to customer specifications Coordinate all daily activities and track financial performance to ensure project targets are met Take ownership and constantly look for ways to improve our safety performance Report all incidents, safety infractions, non-compliance issues and participate in the investigation and development of corrective actions Manage customer access requirements (i.e. work with Human Resources for US Visas and job specific drug and alcohol testing)

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Diploma in a technical related field is preferred Previous experience working in an industrial setting, project management and/or estimating Previous experience with on-site operations, waste remediation, project commissioning and decommission Ability to anticipate, investigate, research, and analyze challenging and unique problems, and to resolve or escalate issues in a timely fashion Time management skills are essential to balance and execute on competing priorities Computer skills must include Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and MS Project Will be required to work independently and as part of a larger team, including the interaction with all levels of employees within the company
