p>Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity in our Vaughan or Toronto office for a Director, Architecture to join our senior leadership team The Director is a key member of the Ware Malcomb senior management team responsible for leading design, growth, revenue, profitability, staff management, and client relationships for the Toronto architecture market. This includes spearheading the growth of our architecture group by enhancing design, meeting financial targets, mentoring existing team members, and expanding our practice.Director, Architecture Responsibilities:Oversee finances, business development, operations, and team member management of the Architecture group.Take overall responsibility for ensuring all proposals and contracts (client and consultant) are in place.Review and sign off on all project budget reports before contract execution.Be responsible for the group's organizational charts and conduct a continuous review of office forecasts, financials, and current/future staffing needs with the Region's operations manager.Overall responsibility for the operations of the Architecture group, in collaboration with the Operations Manager.Review monthly project revenue projections and provide necessary weekly updates.Attend business development and networking functions.Set up regular networking meetings with client and industry contacts.Utilize Ware Malcomb CRM system to track all business development activity.Proactively manage any/all project liability issues.Collaborate with Ware Malcomb Talent Acquisition team to recruit new team members.Director, Architecture Requirements: 10+ years of experience within the field of Architecture.Extensive experience managing diverse projects.Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.Established in 1972, Ware Malcomb is a contemporary and expanding full-service design firm providing professional architecture, planning, interior design, civil engineering, branding and building measurement services to corporate, commercial/residential developer and public/institutional clients throughout the world.With office locations throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil, the firm specializes in the design of commercial office, corporate, industrial, science & technology, healthcare, retail, auto, public/institutional facilities and renovation projects.Ware Malcomb offers the best of both worlds - a small-office, supportive and nurturing work environment with large company resources and support - providing an amazing opportunity for professional growth. 5000 fastest-growing private company and a Hot Firm and Best Firm to Work For by Zweig Group
