Account Manager – Media Sales Who we're looking for We are looking for a dynamic sales and marketing professional to join our team in Kitchener. If you're the successful candidate you would manage an existing list of valued advertisers plus develop new opportunities across Southwestern Ontario. You would help local businesses, multi-market companies and media buyers achieve their marketing goals. You would have a powerful suite of Radio, Digital, Television and Out-of-Home assets to work with to build integrated strategies. This portfolio includes data-driven Advanced Advertising solutions. You would also have market-dominant local audio brands that are well connected to their audiences in markets across the country. In Kitchener those include CHYM FM, COUNTRY 106.7, and 570 News. You would have access to Canada's best sports content from Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, CBC's Hockey Night in Canada, Blue Jays Baseball and more. But that’s not all, you’d also have a deep suite of addressable Audio & Video solutions on platforms exclusive to Rogers Sports & Media like Disney+, CityTV+ and the Wondery podcast network. What you'll do Develop advertising sales across multiple platforms including Radio, Digital, Television and Out-of-Home Develop creative and revenue-generating strategies to attract prospective clients Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets Provide best in class customer service to new and existing clients Present innovative sales opportunities to small, medium and large clients Write professional and comprehensive sales presentations Collaborate with interlocking teams to efficiently serve customers and drive revenue Manage a CRM (Salesforce) database to efficiently track all sales activity along with client contact information Network to foster new relationships Participate in ongoing marketing and sales training Service client base in a professional manner consistent with Rogers Sports & Media's values What you bring Proven Sales Expertise: Strong track record in media or related fields, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth. Business Development and Client Management: Skilled in prospecting new business, building lasting relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction for repeat business. Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and client needs, developing creative strategies that align with client goals and drive growth. Experience with Local Clients and Partners: Expertise in working directly with local clients and partners to execute media campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals and maximizing impact. Customer-Centric Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional service, addressing client needs proactively, and continuously driving client satisfaction.
