Your focus will be on modernizing and extending CaseWare’s capabilities, driving high‑quality, secure, and cloud‑native solutions. As part of our Technology – Development team, you’ll partner with business stakeholders to deliver transformative solutions that redefine how MNP does business. Responsibilities Design integrations and data pipelines from CaseWare to modern reporting, analytics and automation platforms such as CRM and tax software. Re‑architect custom functionality currently embedded in CaseWare, modularizing where needed and transitioning components to cloud‑native services. Partner with the Development Manager and stakeholders to lead modernization efforts with a security‑first, cloud‑native mindset. Architect and advise on the migration of MNP’s on‑prem CaseWare implementation to a robust, AI‑enabled cloud platform. Bridge the gap between CaseView developers and scripting developers, translating between legacy and modern domains. Design and lead implementation of new platform capabilities emphasizing resilience, observability and compliance alignment. Define and lead robust technical testing strategies—including fault‑tolerance, access control and auditability. Contribute to the revision of our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with an emphasis on secure delivery, automation and scalability. Own delivery timelines and ensure architectural standards are upheld. Provide technical leadership and mentorship, enabling teams to grow in DevOps, secure coding and scalable system design. Foster a culture of proactive risk management and technical excellence. Skills and Experience At least 5 years in software engineering with deep expertise in infrastructure, cloud platforms and secure delivery pipelines. At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with CaseWare APIs, SDKs and desktop environments, with a track record in modernization initiatives. Extensive cloud architecture experience, especially on Azure with Kubernetes, Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) approaches. Demonstrated experience implementing AI‑powered automation within audit or tax workflows. Strong grounding in security, compliance and risk frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR and secure CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business impact. Strategic mindset with the ability to plan, align and execute long‑term architectural goals. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and secure SDLC practices. Additional beneficial experience: Domain knowledge in Audit, Tax or Compliance SaaS platforms. Familiarity with identity and access management systems and event‑driven architecture. Understanding of Audit, Accounting and Tax business domains.
