The position: You will be an important member of the team, taking ownership of your own work. The role will consist of the following:

· Completion of financial statements and corporate tax returns from source documents · Preparation of personal tax returns · Preparation or review of various tax forms including T4s and T5s · Preparation of review and audit engagements (minimal audits with-in a given year) · Preparation of personal tax returns from source documents

You will be completing a variety of file engagements and effectively building strong client relationships by demonstrating a high degree of initiative, excellent project management, interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong technical expertise in accounting and tax.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous mid-sized to small public accounting experience who are familiar and comfortable acting as a Senior on audit, review, and compilation engagements . The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Two to three years' public accounting experience minimum, preferably in a small or mid-sized firm; Confidence preparing audit, review, and compilation engagements; Hand's-on experience preparing financial statements and corporate income tax returns; Familiar with software including CaseWare, Taxprep, CCH IFirm, and Microsoft Office, Experience preparing personal tax returns Possesses strong written and interpersonal communication skills dealing with a variety of clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $60,000.00-$100,000 per year dependent on ability and experience.

· Monday to Friday (Overtime expected in personal tax season)

· 8 hour shift (flexibility possible)

· Possibility for Hybrid model following probation period
