About the Role Our Partner Strategy Team is seeking a data-driven Ecommerce Growth Lead to scale our owned brands and inventory business. This role is responsible for achieving sales and margin targets, identifying growth opportunities, and driving strategic initiatives through collaboration with cross‑functional teams such as Marketing, VDG, and B2B. AI will play a key role in the success of this position. The ideal candidate has proficiency in utilizing AI to find scalable solutions and improve throughput. They thrive in high-demand environments, effectively manage competing priorities, and focus on initiatives with direct business impact. This is a hybrid role, working up to 2 days a week in our corporate headquarters in the vibrant Gastown area of Vancouver, BC. What You’ll Be Doing Identify product development and launch strategies to expand private label coverage with high-potential products. Partner with Marketing and Analytics to identify catalog gaps and develop white-label solutions. Enable new and existing vendor launches through private label initiatives. Enhance exclusive catalog offerings, improving both ASP and contribution margin. Identify and support private label opportunities for enrollment in owned inventory. Monitor and report changes in ASP, AOV, and sales trends for key vendors and owned brands. Collaborate with Analytics to recommend pricing and promotional strategies for private label growth. Manage content initiatives for top SKUs, leveraging internal and marketplace insights for growth. Assist with inventory planning and management for owned inventory opportunities. Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Merchandising to align data insights with execution. Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to influence strategic decisions. Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to highlight key growth levers. What You Bring 4–7+ years of experience in ecommerce strategy, business analytics, consulting, or a related field. Proficient in leveraging AI-powered tools and technologies to automate as well as speed up processes Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent is a plus. In-depth understanding of marketplaces (especially Amazon), including buy box dynamics, pricing, and lead time strategies. Experience managing large catalogs (100k+ SKUs). Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI). Comfortable navigating competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to present insights effectively. Ability to translate data into actionable insights and executive-level narratives. What Success Looks Like Meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets for the assigned business unit. Coordinating across teams to execute high-impact projects efficiently. Driving growth in private label and sets programs through strategic product additions. Supporting the expansion of the owned inventory business through product and vendor strategies. Effectively identifying and communicating blockers, ensuring timely resolution and progress. The expected salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000 depending on various factors including experience, skills, training and certifications, market demands, and organizational needs. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.
