This role offers exposure to pubco clients and a path to becoming a Controller. As Assistant Controller, responsibilities include preparation of working papers, oversight and review of full cycle accounting, and various ad‑hoc projects unique to our clients. You will own specific client files from industries such as e‑commerce, retail, manufacturing, cannabis, mining, and biotechnology. Requirements Designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Assurance experience at a public accounting firm Relationship builder with strong client and team communication Meticulous attention to detail, especially in reconciliation Highly organized and able to multitask under deadline pressure Technology savvy and open to learning Passionate about improving processes and challenging the status quo Comfortable handling a variety of work and staying on your toes Benefits We will cover your CPA schooling, annual dues, and professional development courses with no claw‑back policy.
