The Diagnostic Imaging Department offers a variety of services to inpatients and outpatients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Modalities include X‑ray, CT, MRI, US, Mammography (including Ontario Breast Screening OBSP), Echocardiography, and non‑invasive IR procedures. Orthopedic fracture clinics run multiple days per week, adding to the variety of patients seen. Position Summary The Diagnostic Imaging Department is currently seeking a Permanent Full‑Time Medical Radiation Technologist [X‑ray/Mammography/OBSP] to join the team. Effective Date: As Soon As Possible. Relocation assistance is available to qualified candidates. Essential Qualifications Active member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) Experience in X‑ray, Mammography, and OBSP Breast Imaging level 1 & 2 course completed or in progress Current CPR certification (to be obtained on hire) High level of communication, organizational, and time‑management skills Ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff, patients, and the public Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job as per the current Physical Demands Analysis Preferred Qualifications Computer experience in a Windows environment Trained in Epic (training can be provided, but must pass required testing) Hours of Work Must be available for eight (8) hour day, and evening shifts, Monday to Sunday. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement.
