RMH is known for compassionate, quality patient care.About the DepartmentThe Diagnostic Imaging Department provides 24/7 imaging services including X‑ray, CT, MRI, US, mammography (Ontario Breast Screening Program), echocardiography, and non‑invasive IR procedures. Orthopedic fracture clinics run multiple days per week, adding variety to patient cases.Position SummaryThe Diagnostic Imaging Department seeks a Temporary Full‑time (Non‑Mastered) Medical Radiation Technologist to join the team. Effective Date is as soon as possible, ending on or before July 31, 2026.Essential QualificationsActive membership of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)Experience with general X‑ray, OR, and portable workCurrent CPR certification, to be obtained on hireHigh level of communication, organizational, and time‑management skillsAbility to interact effectively with staff, patients, and the public at all levelsPACS experiencePhysical ability to meet job requirements as detailed in the Physical Demands AnalysisPreferred QualificationsComputer experience in a Windows environmentCertification in the Administration of Intravenous Contrast AgentsPrevious mammography experience or interest in trainingHours of WorkMust be available for eight‑hour day, evening, and night shifts Monday to Sunday, including statutory holidays. Standby and call‑back duties may be required.
