This position provides hands‑on experience with GIS software, field data collection, and asset management systems. This full‑time role will report to our Brantford office daily, with the potential for some remote work based on role requirements. 4‑month co‑op term (January - April 2026) with the possibility of extension.Duties:Updating GIS model and connectivityGeneral field data collection and perform field checksUpdating utility asset databases and GIS tablesUpdating Drawing IndexCreating specialized mapsInvolvement in special projectsOther duties as assigned.What You Will BringEnrollment in a Geographical Information System Certificate program or Engineering/Electrical Technician co‑op program at a post‑secondary institution.Eligibility for a co‑op term through your institution.Proficiency with AutoCAD MAP 3D, ESRI, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Team‑oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.Kindly note, we do not entertain unsolicited referrals or resumes from third‑party agencies or recruiters for our job postings.We appreciate the opportunity to review all resumes, however due to volume, only those under consideration will be contacted.
