**What You Will Do**:
The **GIS Co-op Student** will assist in maintaining and updating Geographic Information System (GIS) data and related databases to support utility and infrastructure projects. This position provides hands-on experience with GIS software, field data collection, and asset management systems. This full-time role will report to our Brantford office daily, with the potential for some remote work based on role requirements. 4-month co-op term (January - April 2026) with the possibility of extension.

**Duties**:

- Updating GIS model and connectivity
- General field data collection and perform field checks
- Updating utility asset databases and GIS tables
- Updating Drawing Index
- Creating specialized maps
- Involvement in special projects
- Other duties as assigned.

**What You Will Bring**

- Enrollment in a Geographical Information System Certificate program or Engineering/Electrical Technician co-op program at a post-secondary institution.
- Eligibility for a co-op term through your institution.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD MAP 3D, ESRI, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.
