About You You’re a hands-on performance marketer with a proven record of scaling Meta and Google Ads profitably at significant spend levels. You’re as comfortable digging into data and attribution as you are writing sharp ad copy or testing new creative angles. You thrive in lean, fast-moving environments where ownership is high, expectations are clear, and results matter more than hours. Team Member Traits Entrepreneurial mindset with a love for data-driven growth marketing Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable — you find solutions quickly and creatively Client-presentable and collaborative, comfortable working cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering Independent and accountable — able to own strategy and execution without micromanagement Clear communicator who values transparency, feedback, and new ideas Abilities & Skills Expertise in Meta + Google Ads, scaling campaigns to $200K+/month Strong grasp of CAC, ROAS, CPA, CTR, and attribution Hands-on experience with creative testing pipelines (UGC, static, video, carousel) Skilled in writing high-converting ad copy and developing creative briefs Experience sourcing and managing UGC creators and coordinating external vendors/partners Comfortable building dashboards, tracking spend, and optimizing campaigns in real time Bonus points for: TikTok, LinkedIn, or Reddit Ads; SEO or CRO experience; or startup growth experience Experience 3–5+ years in performance marketing, ideally in B2C/e-commerce or high-growth startups Proven success managing both Meta and Google Ads at scale Strong copywriting and creative iteration background Bias toward candidates from smaller teams or startups who have owned the full funnel About the Role You’ll lead Aragon’s performance marketing function, taking ownership of Meta and Google Ads and gradually expanding into new platforms. You’ll inherit accounts currently managed by an agency and transition performance in-house, supported by an in-house designer and cross-functional teammates. Day-to-day, you’ll: Develop and execute high-performing ad strategies across Meta + Google (and later TikTok/LinkedIn/Reddit) Scale ad spend from $100K–$200K+/mo, maintaining strict efficiency and profitability Create and optimize ad variations with UGC creators, agencies, and internal teams Write sharp, conversion-focused copy for multiple formats and audiences Establish and maintain a repeatable creative testing pipeline Report on KPIs, ensuring clarity on spend, attribution, and performance Collaborate closely with design, content, product, and data teams to fuel growth Success looks like: Within 30 days: full ownership of accounts and outperforming current profits Within 90 days: running strategy and execution autonomously, with a reliable creative pipeline and clear reporting cadence Compensation & Perks Competitive salary (exact range to be discussed with qualified candidates) Equity + performance-based bonuses 25 PTO days, usable for vacation, health, or holidays (plus additional company holidays) Health, vision, and dental benefits $1K wellness budget for gym, education, or productivity needs Equipment allowance Fully remote within Canada Annual company offsite — next one is in Tokyo This is a rare chance to take full ownership of performance marketing at a lean, profitable, and well-funded AI startup.
