Join as a Specialist, Quality Assurance at Pure Sunfarms. Overview Support the International sales and business development team by onboarding clients, ensuring supply readiness, compliance, and streamlining market entry. Maintain strict adherence to batch records, labeling, document control, investigations, inspections, testing, and continuous quality improvement. Essential Responsibilities Onboard and qualify clients, develop and update SOPs, and manage third‑party bulk flower sourcing. Qualify rooms, equipment, and processes; conduct audits and risk assessments; maintain quality agreements. Coordinate sampling, testing, and data analysis to meet customer schedules and flag OOS or deviations. Lead root‑cause investigations, corrective actions, and CAPA for product quality and regulatory compliance. Support external audits and regulatory inspections; prepare audit reports and action plans. Collaborate with site operations to manage risks, initiatives for continuous improvement, and QRM activities. Assist product development, site trials, and change‑control management to support R&D studies and product launches. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related discipline is required. Qualifications & Experience 3‑5 years of QA experience in regulated industries (food, pharmaceutical, cannabis). Strong knowledge of federal and provincial regulatory requirements; experience in GxP environments. Proficient in developing SOPs, work instructions, technical reports, and audits. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Experience 3‑5 years of QA experience in food production, pharmaceutical, cannabis and/or equivalent regulated industries. Knowledge & Skills Experience in SOP development and technical reporting. Hands‑on audit, CAPA, deviation, and change‑control management. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiency. Ability to manage priorities, adapt to changing business requirements, and communicate effectively in English. Physical Requirements Work on site; ability to work at a desk in a seated or standing position as required.
