If that describes your background, 2 Hour Learning is seeking its academic leader. 2 Hour Learning has developed a system in which students learn twice as quickly in just two hours per day. This outcome is driven by AI-based tutoring, mastery-oriented progression, and a structural break from traditional classroom models. The results speak for themselves. We now require a leader who can align execution across a range of school environments, elevate academic standards, and serve as the authoritative voice for a movement rooted in rigorous learning science. This role is not focused on theory. It is a leadership position with operational accountability. You will own the academic strategy in action, establish clear benchmarks, diagnose gaps in execution, and develop high-performing teams to achieve concrete outcomes. You will convert our scientific foundation into operational rigor and articulate the case for this model on a global stage. What You Will Be Doing Developing academic frameworks that convert learning science into actionable direction for curriculum design, motivational structures, and application development. Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to maintain alignment, accountability, and performance across school teams. Integrating data, direct observation, and stakeholder interviews into comprehensive academic ecosystem reviews that identify high-impact obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend targeted interventions. Ensuring strategic alignment through structured planning, continuous feedback, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on student learning objectives. Serving as the principal representative of 2 Hour Learning in external forums, including keynote presentations and engagement with Ministries of Education, to advance systemic transformation in educational practice. What You Won’t Be Doing Working on disconnected curriculum initiatives that fail to produce system-wide impact. Conducting theoretical research disconnected from measurable student outcomes or operational implementation. Assigning accountability for performance to mid-level managers or external consultants. Depending on institutional credibility or abstract frameworks to convince critical audiences. Key Responsibilities Expand and strengthen 2 Hour Learning's validated academic model by aligning execution across school sites, raising leadership expectations, and serving as the authoritative public advocate for a movement built on rigorous science and demonstrated results. Basic Requirements Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field 7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning Track record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advising Strong performance management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders Nice‑to‑have Requirements Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high-performing EdTech venture Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts Deep familiarity with Bloom's 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks About 2 Hour Learning Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be. Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
