Responsible for project management and delivery of geotechnical investigations and analysis for engineering studies for deep and shallow foundations (static, seismic and dynamic machine loadings);Infrastructure (new and replacements, including sewer and watermains, pipelines, telecommunication towers, highways, bridges, railways);Slope and earth structure stability, tailings dams, hydrogeology studies, stormwater control facilities, in-situ testing;Instrumentation, construction inspection and laboratory testing;You will also play a key role on the engineering team providing leadership and mentoring of the team members;Prepare technical proposals and write engineering reports;

Your Profile

  • University degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering;
  • Completion of advanced or specialized university courses in geotechnical engineering and foundation engineering (Master's degree an asset);
  • 6 years of solid Geotechnical engineering experience;
  • Experience in geotechnical related work such as site investigations, design of deep and shallow foundations, slope stability and on-site review of construction activities (asset);
  • Current registration with MTO's RAQs for foundations and/or tunneling disciplines an asset;
  • Fluent English, written and spoken;
