Tire Warranty - Bilingual Technical Product SpecialistOverviewThis is an open position for the Canadian market supporting product complaints, fleet concerns, and technical support to sales. Responsible for timely reporting of findings into the Global Warranty system and for training internal and external teams on warranty complaints and processes. The role involves monitoring quality assurance processes to meet performance, quality, and safety standards, and providing technical product service and field support.ResponsibilitiesAn active role in the Canadian market supporting product complaints, fleet concerns, and technical support to sales.Respond to technical issues and follow new production tires for market acceptance.Collaborate with internal and external teams to train on warranty complaints and processes.Timely reporting of findings into the Global Warranty system.Monitor and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures and controls to meet established standards.Provide qualified resolution of technical and/or product-related questions from end-users; consult with local sales and marketing on technical questions/aspects; provide technical training to field sales teams.Adjudicate warranty tires at customer account locations; provide feedback to customers on failure modes.Provide technical field support in retread and digital solutions.Provide relevant tire samples and information to the Corporate Early Warning System; evaluate and summarize performance versus competition at customers.Provide technical evaluation to fleet customers; travel with Territory Sales Manager and Key Account Managers to provide technical support; evaluate and report on new product performance in the Americas region; represent Continental on tire technical issues at customer locations; prepare and deliver professional presentations to internal and external clients, including upper management.QualificationsRelevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 2+ years in tire or vehicle technology, or 4+ years if no relevant Bachelor’s degree.Ability to stack, unstack and handle commercial vehicle tires and equipment.Polished presentation skills; ability to instruct effectively.English & French fluency.Home office located near an airport; frequent travel (50%+).Valid driver’s license and passport; legal authorization to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship).Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses.Additional Ways To Stand OutCustomer service experience.Knowledge of tire manufacturing, testing or failed tire analysis.Truck tires sales and/or R&D experience.Additional Information & BenefitsCompetitive wages and bonusComprehensive benefit package for self and familyRSP contributionFlexible work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
