Pack-Smart Inc. automated equipment isdesigned, built, and shipped from our manufacturing facility in Concord,Ontario Job title: Plant Operations Manager- Leadinnovation in machine building with World Class brands We’re looking for an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our production floor, includingassembly, system testing, and delivery. You’ll manage cross-functional teamsand collaborate with vendors to ensure excellence in quality, efficiency, andon-time delivery. If you have a background in machine manufacturing orelectronics manufacturing, this role will excel your skills in automationequipment manufacturing Responsibilities Drive Daily Ops – Own the floor. Leadassembly, commissioning, and testing to deliver excellence on every system. Optimize Supply Chains – Build strongvendor relationships and negotiate smart contracts that keep us ahead of thecurve. Streamline Inventory – Ensure criticalparts are always where they need to be—before they're needed. Boost Productivity – Identifybottlenecks. Launch lean initiatives. Drive continuous improvement. Champion Quality – Maintain Pack-Smart’sreputation for precision through uncompromising quality standards. Lead with Purpose – Inspire, coach, andelevate a talented team of technicians and assemblers. Collaborate to Win – Sync withEngineering, Sales, and Support to align operations with business goals. Track the Metrics – Report on KPIs,costs, and timelines with clarity and confidence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree inEngineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management (or related field). 5+ years leadingoperations in machine manufacturing or electronics manufacturingenvironments. Identifying and improvingsupply chain strategy, production planning, and inventory management. Strong people managementskills and a track record of building high-performance teams. Strong knowledge ofpneumatics, servo motors, and machine shop practices. Experience with ERPsystems (or related) and industrial automation is a major asset.
