Administrative Assistant, Community and Distance Learning Join the Government of Nunavut as an Administrative Assistant providing professional administrative, secretarial, program delivery support and Inuit language services to the Division of Community and Distance Learning. The division offers adult education across 25 community learning centres and academic programmes. Responsibilities Provide executive assistance to the Chair. Support financial, administrative, clerical and information systems of the division. Maintain attendance records for staff. Order supplies and maintain inventory. Act as a resource on courses, programmes, policies and procedures. Arrange duty travel for the Chair, PASS staff, Qikiqtaaluk Managers and Adult Educators. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalency plus a Certificate in Office Administration. Minimum one year experience in a related administrative area. Fluency in Inuktitut and English is required; French is an asset. Experience in an educational environment is an asset. Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, Inuktut and Northern cross‑cultural environments is considered an asset. Employment Details Full‑time, Entry level.
