Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in retail management, and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and customers. As a General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and implement strategies to enhance sales performance.

Duties

  1. Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
  2. Recruit, train, and develop staff members to build a high-performing team.
  3. Communicate effectively with team members to foster a positive work environment.
  4. Manage inventory levels and pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
  5. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.
  6. Oversee cashiering processes and ensure accurate financial transactions.
  7. Monitor retail sales performance and implement strategies for improvement.
  8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
  2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  3. Ability to recruit, train, and supervise staff effectively.
  4. Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required.
  5. Experience in cashiering and retail sales is highly desirable.
  6. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors.
  7. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Additional pay: Commission pay

Schedule:

  1. 8 hour shift
  2. Day shift
  3. Monday to Friday
  4. Overtime
  5. Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
