JOB SUMMARY: This position is a Real Estate/Development Project Management role requiring direct and extensive experience in Real Estate Development projects. The successful Senior Project Manager (SPM) will deliver and oversee customized project solutions to our clients with a focus on quality and customer service. Projects include office tenant fit-out and general real estate related construction projects. You will act as an “Owner’s Representative” and must exhibit CBRE’s RISE Values (Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as primary interface with clients for project delivery.
- Manage the project life cycle using PMI-based processes.
- Manage multiple mid to large-sized complex projects, typically valued between $100,000 to $15m.
- Develop project budgets, schedules, scopes, and risk logs.
- Assemble and manage design and implementation teams.
- Procure and manage external service providers.
- Negotiate changes in scope, timing, and deliverables.
- Manage all aspects of projects using CBRE’s software tool Kahua.
- Ensure health & safety and quality management requirements are met.
- Perform site visits for tendering and construction reviews.
- Successfully manage client relationships through clear communication.
- Contribute to process improvement and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 12 years of related project management experience.
- Minimum 7 years in delivering office tenant improvement projects.
- Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.
- Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
- Excellent knowledge of real estate development processes.
- Valid Class ‘5’ B.C. driver’s license and ability to travel.
- PMP certification preferred; relevant degrees or experience required.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada without visa sponsorship.
Compensation: Salary between $110,000 and $130,000, based on experience. Benefits include Group Retirement Program, Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, Life Insurance, and more.
