Associate Professor or Professor of Business (Full-Time, Tenure Track) Posted: October 17, 2025 Tyndale is a Christian university that prepares leaders for work in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, ministry and the global mission of the church. Tyndale offers fully accredited programs in a wide range of disciplines at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Currently, there are over 1,600 students representing over 90 denominations and 60 ethnic backgrounds and over 13,000 alumni. Founded in 1894, Tyndale is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. POSITION PURPOSE This tenure-track position in business, at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, will involve providing leadership to the Business program, developing relationships with local businesses, and teaching introductory and upper-level courses in his or her area of expertise that serve the BBA and BA Business programs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The Associate Professor or Professor of Business will be expected to serve the Tyndale community through: committee assignments regular engagement in scholarly research teaching a 3/3 course load across two 13-week semesters Endowment funds can be used to buy down the course load to provide greater research and program development opportunities for the chairholder. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education PhD or DBA in an area related to business (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Accounting, etc.); a demonstrated ability to provide leadership and entrepreneurial insight; evidence of capacity for scholarly research; a demonstrated commitment to the integration of faith and learning. Candidates with a Master's degree and significant business experience, or those with terminal degrees in areas closely related to business, will also be considered.
