By joining our division, you will have the opportunity to take part in a satisfying full spectrum neurology practice.Our inpatient care covers general neurology and acute stroke including thrombolysis. Enjoy providing care in the brand new Gaglardi patient care tower, which houses a multi-disciplinary stroke/rehabilitation unit. Hospitalist and internal medicine teams support neurology admissions.Outpatient neurology clinics take place in the beautiful new Clinical Services Building. TIA/stroke clinic runs 5 days a week and is supported by a full time RN and booking clerk. Our EMG lab is state of the art and staffed by an experienced technician.If you are interested in teaching, you can be actively involved with the UBC clerkship and residency programs. We have on-site medical students, family medicine residents, internal medicine residents, as well as rotating residents in psychiatry and neurology.Additionally, if you would like to locum while deciding if Kamloops is a fit- we offer an unprecedented all-inclusive guarantee: $15,000 for a 7 day locum week -travel and accommodation on top of that.CompensationCompensation Type Fee-for-Service Estimated Remuneration $500,000 + MOCAP Level 1Benefits and IncentivesRelocation Funding Available $Relocation reimbursement up to a maximum of $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada (with eligible detailed receipts)We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
