Role and Facility Information Join our growing neurology team at Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) and help shape neurological care in the region. You will provide continuous full‑spectrum neurology practice, including inpatient general neurology and acute stroke care with thrombolysis. Care is supported by hospitalist, internal medicine, and multi‑disciplinary teams. Outpatient neurology clinics operate in the new Clinical Services Building, covering stroke/TIA, EMG, and EEG services, with expansion plans for rapid‑access and subspecialty clinics. You will teach medical students, residents, and community trainees through the UBC clerkship and residency programs. Locum opportunities are available with a $15,000 guarantee for a 7‑day week. Leadership development is available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program. Compensation Fee‑for‑Service Estimated remuneration: $500,000 + MOCAP Level 1 Benefits and Incentives Relocation reimbursement: $9,000 within BC, $12,000 within Canada, $15,000 from outside Canada (subject to change; rates confirmed at offer) Practice Details RIH is a 273‑bed tertiary referral centre and Level 1 Trauma Centre serving 250,000 people. The Phil and Jennie Gaglardi Tower opened in 2022, offering advanced mental health and surgical services. New facilities include a post‑anesthetic recovery room, pediatric unit, and an upcoming $359 million cancer centre by 2028.
