In this role, you'll monitor and control Bill of Material costs for our vehicles, ensuring compliance with Buy America regulations and supporting key procurement processes. Bring your expertise in ERP systems, data analysis, and cost control to drive efficiency and value.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Lives and role models the company Values and culture at all times. (For all roles – do not delete)Analysis of all North American vehicle BOM costs by platform and customerTo report all BOM cost changes each week, identifying both the magnitude and the ownersTo ensure that BOM system costs accurately always reflect approved supplier pricingTo ensure that all BOM cost increases have the correct approval & sign off documentation in placeTo validate commodity savings in platform and customer BOMsTo produce monthly KPI pack for all approved BOM cost movements by platform & customer variantTo support the tendering & Cost of Production processes by providing the latest material cost information to the Commercial DepartmentAccurate and timely reporting of BOM cost movementsCommodity savings validated in platform and customer BOMsNo unauthorized BOM cost increasesUsing the verified BOM, prepare a Buy America submission, where required.WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:Experience with Buy America regulation and audit submissionsThorough knowledge and experience of product BOM structures and classificationsThorough knowledge and experience of ERP systems in a manufacturing environmentExcellent Excel user skills and experienceGood data analysis and reporting skillsDrive, focus and determination to eliminate unnecessary costAbility to influence outcomes through communication, influencing & problem solvingSeveral years’ experience in a manufacturing, materials or procurement environmentWHY JOIN OUR TEAM:Generous salary package – we reward our people at the level they deserve.A 37-hour working week, with flexible working options, giving you that much needed work/life balance.Ongoing employee development through a variety of in-house training initiatives along with tuition subsidies for courses at outside institutions.Annual leave entitlement which increases with tenure.RRSP with company match to help you save for the future.OUR WHY:We move people.
