We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Production Control and Parts Expeditor** to support our manufacturing and supply chain operations. This dual-role position is responsible for managing and releasing work orders, tracking production schedules, and expediting the flow of both manufactured and purchased components to ensure on-time delivery and mínimal production downtime.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Production Control Duties**:

- Create, release, and manage work orders based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Monitor progress of work orders through the manufacturing process to ensure timely completion.
- Adjust schedules and priorities as needed to respond to changes in demand, delays, or material availability.
- Coordinate with engineering, planning, and shop floor teams to resolve issues affecting work order completion.
- Maintain ERP/MRP system data accuracy, including work order status, BOMs, and routing updates.

**Expediting Duties**:

- Track and expedite internal and external parts to support production schedules.
- Follow up with vendors and suppliers on open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify potential delays and collaborate with procurement and production teams to mitigate impacts.
- Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders regarding part availability and shortages.
- Prioritize the movement and delivery of critical components, using judgment and data to support decision-making.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post Secondary education or equivalent required, experience in supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in production control, materials management, or expediting in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, BOMs, and supply chain workflows.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a sense of urgency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment.

**PREFERRED SKILLS**
- Experience in both discrete and job-shop manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
