Architectural Sales Consultant and Account Representative
kreitmaker is a leading Canadian brand recognized for its luxury and trend-setting building materials. We specialize in premium stone and brick products. We are seeking a dynamic Architectural Sales Consultant and Brand Representative to help expand our exclusive brands across Canada.
Role Overview
As the Architectural Sales Consultant and Account Representative, you will be responsible for promoting kreitmaker's luxury brands within our dealer network, as well as with architects and designers across Canada. You will play a key role in establishing kreitmaker as the premier choice for high-quality stone and brick products.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted business relationships with key decision-makers, including architects, designers, builders, contractors, dealers, spec writers, homeowners, and construction managers.
- Project Tracking & Influence: Track projects in the early design stages to influence product specifications and ensure successful project completion.
- Design Consulting: Assist architects, designers, and professional customers with design consultations and product selections to meet their project needs.
- Collaboration: Organize online meetings to facilitate efficient collaboration between customers and the company, ensuring project alignment.
- Sales & Business Development: Work independently across assigned regions in Canada to prospect and develop relationships with new and existing dealers, architects, designers, developers, and general contractors.
- Education & Promotion: Attend trade shows and conduct continuing education programs, such as lunch-and-learns, to educate dealers, designers, and architects on kreitmaker's products and innovations.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience in luxury sales or a related industry
- Two to five years of experience in dealer and architectural sales
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to build lasting business relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills
- Highly organized with the ability to maintain detailed project files, including drawings, quotes, correspondence, and customer communications
- Ability to work independently and proactively originate new business relationships through networking and referrals
- Skilled in negotiating, building value, and addressing objections during the sales process
- Willingness to work variable, non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet customer demands
- Ability to travel across Canada, when required
- Enjoyment from working in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency
- A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required
