Overview Employer Industry: Mining and Camp Services Why consider this job opportunity Starting salary of $25.00 per hour Excellent work-life balance with a 4-week on/2-week off rotation All meals and accommodations provided on-site Opportunity to expand skills in a large camp atmosphere Join a growing company and be part of an industry leader from day one Access to amenities such as gym, Wi-Fi, and private accommodation What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Maintain accurate records of all materials, food stores, and supplies in the inventory system Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies to avoid shortages across various camp departments Ensure timely and documented warehouse deliveries, maintaining hard copies at the office Implement proper storage for goods in accordance with health and safety requirements Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure alignment between physical and theoretical inventory What is Required (Qualifications) Three (3) years of experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the mining or hospitality industry Valid class 5 driver’s license and recent driver’s abstract required prior to position commencement High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is an asset Knowledge and experience with inventory management software, including POS equipment and Microsoft Office Suite Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Understanding and knowledge of perishable food stocking awareness Ability and desire to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as being a team player #J-18808-Ljbffr
