It is within this context that Alectra is now searching for an Executive Vice President, Asset Strategy & Operations.

The EVP, Asset Strategy & Operations reports directly to the CEO and is accountable for the strategic management of system assets, system planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of a modernized high-performance electricity distribution system. The role acts as a strategic business partner and collaborates with leadership across the organization to ensure effective short and long-term planning, operations, and performance of the electrical distribution system. This role establishes short and long-term strategies, plans, and programs necessary to modernize and transform the distribution system to ensure grid resiliency, reliability, capacity, and flexibility required to maximize shareholder and customer benefits and to enable and support customers’ energy choices.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated progressive experience in a leadership role working alongside senior business leaders to drive optimal business outcomes.
  2. Ability to drive efficient network planning and asset management in a unionized environment.
  3. Strong executive presence and communication skills.
