As a HR Business Advisor (HR Outsourcing), you'll help support our HR Outsourcing business. In this position, you will support a wide range of clients with their tactical day-to-day HR needs, while gaining the opportunity to work with clients from various industries throughout Canada.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:

  1. Educates clients on human resources legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  2. Highlights differences in legislative requirements across jurisdictions.
  3. Keeps up-to-date and proficient on a wide variety of Canadian employment laws and regulations; Participates in training and development opportunities.
  4. Promotes the use of tools and resources available to clients through ADP and affiliated third-party vendors.
  5. Conducts virtual meetings with clients to discuss human resources related needs.
  6. Provides high level guidance on a broad array of areas including legislation, policy, compliance, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, health and safety, etc.
  7. Partners with clients to develop employee handbooks based on their organizational needs and preferences.
  8. Leverages every client touchpoint as an opportunity to create value for the client.
  9. Maintains appropriate records of client contact through ADP's case management system; Ensures that case notes are accurate, up-to-date, and maintained in accordance with ADP standards.
  10. Participates in various projects including in-depth research projects, the development of training material, creative content and webinar development.
  11. Adapts as needed to keep up with changing business needs and client requirements.
  12. Performs other related duties as assigned.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

  1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  2. Previous consulting experience preferred.
  3. Must be familiar with HR legislations and regulations throughout Canada.
  4. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  5. Computer savvy with an ability to easily navigate new software.
  6. Must be comfortable working in ambiguous situations with incomplete information with demonstrated skills in problem solving and fact-finding.
  7. Must be adaptable to support various areas of the business and to respond to changing business needs.
  8. Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions.
  9. Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude.
  10. Experience with ADP products and tools is considered an asset.

BONUS POINTS FOR THESE: Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent in HR experience.
  2. HR Designation is preferred.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $58,428.00 - $93,380.00 / Year
