Technical Sales Representative - London/Windsor Region Applied Industrial Technologies - Canada is seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Technical Sales Representative in the London/Windsor corridor. This role requires travel around the London/Windsor region. AIT will provide support and resources to enable success. Overview Our purpose is to help our customers, associates, suppliers, communities and shareholders achieve superior performance. Applied Canada is a leading value-added distributor of bearings, power transmission products, engineered fluid power components and systems, specialty flow control solutions, and other industrial supplies, serving MRO and OEM customers. We provide engineering, design and systems integration for industrial, fluid power, and flow control applications, as well as customized mechanical and flow control shop services. Responsibilities Responsible for new business development as well as maintaining existing territory Prospect for new customers, set appointments and demonstrate product benefits Develop strategic relationships with customers to identify and leverage business goals, growth strategies and profit drivers; deliver the appropriate value proposition Work with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospects Respond to customer product inquiries Engage in direct sales activities Promote existing and new products Anticipate client direction and objectives Manage a robust sales territory Maintain cooperative and productive team relationships Attend training and sales meetings as required Meet or exceed sales targets Qualifications 2-5 (or more) years of experience in Technical/Outside Sales selling to industrial MROs, OEMs, and other components (Bearings, Power Transmission, Fluid Power, etc.). Preference will be given to individuals with mechanical aptitude. Sales and service oriented; professional demeanor; strong organizational skills. Ability to prospect for new clients and utilize technology to source components and information. Ability to build and maintain customer relations; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with inside sales and in a team environment; self-motivated and able to work independently. Focus on growth and profitability; ability to meet or beat annual sales goals. Enthusiastic about contributing to a winning culture.
