The overall purpose of this position is to support the analysis of Hyundai/Genesis product performance in the market covering the entire operation from sales planning, inventory management, trim mix/product strategy, pricing/incentive strategy, marketing effectiveness, actual sales progression, segment trends/forecasts, competitive landscape, and to the final profitability. HAC PLM team’s key mission is to achieve revenue, volume, and share objectives every month/year and provide strategic direction on go-to-market strategies that optimize sales and profitability for all vehicle(s).

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • This position reports to the National Manager, Product Line Management.
  • Support Monthly Global Model Performance Review Analysis
  • Collect monthly sales data from different teams at HAC (Sales, Product, Finance) and prepare comprehensive Model Performance Review Analysis before Regional Headquarters’ deadline
  • Analyze monthly summary for each vehicle covering from the market trends, segment market share, Hyundai monthly sales, inventory, trim mix, pricing, incentives and competitive landscapes
  • Identify ‘what’s in the water’ and recommend ‘Go-To-Market’ Strategy for the following month to the executives
  • Support Monthly and Quarterly Incentive Report
  • Collaborate with Incentive team to closely track monthly incentive spending and prepare Monthly/Quarterly Incentive Report for Regional Headquarter
  • Analyze incentive spending monthly trends for each vehicle and make comparison with the annual business plan to identify any opportunities or risks
  • Closely track and analyze competitors’ incentive spending to make recommendation on optimizing incentive competitiveness
  • Support Monthly Business Update Report
  • Collect monthly sales actual and forecast and compare with the annual business plan
  • Analyze monthly sales (both wholesale and retail) to closely track the overall sales performance
  • Analyze total industry and segment sales to identify any sales opportunities available
  • Create centralized database to automate cloud-based Tableau dashboard and slide generation
  • Collaborate with regional headquarter in US to benchmark their data automation process
  • Develop Tableau dashboard analyzing the overall vehicle performance monthly

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions.
  • Completion of a secondary school diploma and college, e.g., diploma / certificate / trade license.... or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and competitive landscape
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experiences with data modelling, automation, and dashboard creation in Excel
  • High proficiency in Tableau
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent analytical skills; detail-oriented, self-starter and forward thinking
  • Assertive team player, ability to positively influence without direct authority to drive deliverables
  • Strong work ethic with internal motivation to succeed
