Be a part of our growing Health & Wellness philosophy that includes: Pharmacy, Dietitian, Medical and Optical services.This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy Operations and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivery of Rx accurately and timely. Ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patient’s needs, and counsel with appropriate documentation to all patients. Provide friendly, positive, and pro-active interaction with all internal and external customers as well create awareness and educate customers through public relations. As well, supervise and provide guidance and direction to staff, with the accountability of the financial and operational success of the department.Please provide Proof of OCP Licensure with Application (OCP License number)What You'll DoSupervise and provide guidance and direction to Pharmacy staffResponsible for hiring and managing the performance of all Pharmacy staffResponsible for creating Pharmacy schedules and arranging for vacation and shift coverageAccountable for the financial and operational success of the departmentObtain and review budgeted sales and net contribution of the Pharmacy to the Grocery StoreIdentify and report sales opportunities both internally and externallyReview and control costs at all levels within Loblaw PharmacyEnsure Pharmacy Operations follow OCP and Company Regulations, Policies and ProceduresEnsure medication and behind the counter inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needsAttend meetings are assignedPrepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patientsCounsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and pro-active interactionCreate awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)Provide timely and positive resolution to patient’s needs and Prescriber’s requests/issuesInjection administration, lab testing, expanded scope of Practice for prescribing (Minor Ailments, etc.)What you’ll need:Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license a mustMinimum of 3 years’ experience in retail Pharmacy environmentInjection Certification, CPR certificationStrong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skillsStrong people management skills and the ability to motivate and coach othersExcellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalismProven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategiesStrong problem-solving skills including the experience formulating and executing action plansStrong personal computing skills (MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word) as well as knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy Computer system a definite assetIf you want to join a fast-paced winning team and believe you can have an immediate impact, then we want to hear from youApply todayOur commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
