**Our unique single-dose strip packaging system gives new options for patients with compliance issues, allowing them to take more control of their day-to-day lives. We have free prescription delivery anywhere in Ontario and are looking to expand Canada wide within the year, while continuing to expand the offerings in our growing health store.**

**Responsibilities**
- **Critical thinking and problem-solving skills**
- **Real-time coordination with prescribers and insurance companies**
- **Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)**
- **Interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written**
- **Receive prescriptions and check their validity**
- **Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate**
- **Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions**
- **Sort, prepare, label medication, and monitor inventory (both pharmacy and front shop)**
- **Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned**
- **Comply with all security measures and quality standards**
- **Take on other tasks or projects to support employees, other managers, and pharmacy operations as necessary**
- **Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas**
- **Prepare shipments to be handled by Canada Post for delivery**

**Requirements**:

- **Proven experience as a Pharmacy Assistant**
- **Excellent communication and customer service skills**
- **Adaptability**
- **Ability to learn new skill sets**
- **Experience with pharmacy software is an asset**
- **Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement**
- **Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology**
- **Outstanding organizational skills**
- **Reliable with a keen eye for detail**
