Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Designer UX-UI for a permanent full-time position.

Reporting to the E-Commerce Product Leader, the UI/UX designer will play a key role in building the digital customer experience of our e-commerce sites and in our ongoing growth. The person in this role will work on design issues, optimizations, and the constant search for opportunities. They will collaborate with our marketing, sales, and technical teams to conceptualize ideas, design, test, iterate, and involve end users throughout the process.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE

  • Optimize the user experience of Groupe Marcelle's e-commerce sites on mobile and Web.
  • Propose, create, and implement page templates via Shopify.
  • Conduct research on design and user experience based on user data.
  • Facilitate "design thinking" workshops to guide product direction and enhance the customer experience.
  • Create and iterate prototypes using Figma, emphasizing the importance of prototyping sprints to perfect products.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments, including the Graphic Studio, e-commerce specialists, and brand managers, to meet customer journey needs.
  • Work with developers to ensure consistent implementation of design language and UI/UX features.
  • Conduct regular user testing to identify friction points and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze usage data to make evidence-based decisions regarding UI improvements.
  • Explore new features to provide an optimal user experience.
  • Conduct A/B testing.
  • Stay informed of UX/UI design trends and innovations to integrate best practices into the design process.
  • Participate in project planning meetings to understand technical and business requirements and constraints.
  • Ensure visual and functional consistency of websites with the brand image.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with expertise in designing and evolving the product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
  • Experience in creating websites and applications for e-commerce, with a strong visual aesthetic.
  • Ability to develop consistent visual systems and deliver high-fidelity designs ready for production.
  • Strong ability to balance user needs, business goals, and clinical insights.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics 4.
  • Expertise in using Figma.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Experience in the cosmetics or fashion sectors.
  • Proficiency in Shopify (An asset).

AND IF YOU ARE

  • Bilingual, both spoken and written, in French and English, as you will need to communicate with various teams across Canada.
