Why This Role Matters As a lead developer, you will act as a technical leader for the DevOps team, supporting Radio-Canada’s digital products and services on Azure. Impact & Responsibilities Leadership: Mentor the DevOps team and onboard new members. Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews and evolve engineering standards. Planning: Assist with task planning and estimation to keep the team unblocked. Architecture: Communicate risks to the architect and champion tools to address debt. Hands‑on: Contribute to development (30‑50% time) on non‑critical tasks. Oversight: Define standards for CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. Collaboration: Coordinate cross‑functional issues on governance, security and FinOps. Minimum Requirements Education: University degree in computer science or equivalent. Experience: Seven years in related roles, including two years in a technical leadership position. Technical: Advanced knowledge of Linux, Microsoft Azure, Terraform, YAML pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, networking, and at least one language (Python, Go, Node) plus a scripting language. Tools: Proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps. Languages: Solid spoken and written English and French. Nice‑to‑Have Skills Terraspace, Windows admin, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Azure SQL, Redis.
